
Ms. Colleen Proffitt's
5th Grade
Ms. Proffitt has been teaching for 15 years.
She taught 4th grade at Laurel Elementary and has taught 2nd, 6th,
and now 5th at Doe Elementary.
Ms. Proffitt has a Bachelor's Degree from ETSU and a Master's degree from Tusculum College.
Her hobbies include playing the piano, reading, walking, and collecting cookbooks and music boxes.

Materials needed for 5th grade:
1 box of colored pencils
2 glue sticks
Ruler with standard and metric measurements
Scissors (Student Friskers)
Theme Notebooks 70 count (Please buy several for the entire year. These are usually on sale at Wal-Mart before school starts)
1 3-ring notebook for Review
Puffs or Kleenex (2 boxes)
Clorox Disinfecting wipes (2 containers)
2 Spiral bound index cards
Pencils #2 lead (Please get enough for the entire year)
Notebook paper for classwork
Calculator/Casio 260 or Casio 300 (They are at Wal-Mart for $7.00-$10.00)
